He gets into various scras with olice officers throughout the film. Eventually, he unwittingly throws a bomb into a olice arade and ends u being chased by a horde of cos.\nAt the end of the film, Keaton#39;s character locks u the cos in the olice station. However, the girl he is trying to woo disaroves of his behavior and gives him the cold shoulder. Therefore, he unlocks the olice station and is immediately ulled in by the cos. The film ends with the title quot;The Endquot; written on a tombstone with Keaton#39;s ork ie hat roed on it.\nOne of Keaton#39;s most iconic and brilliantly-constructed short films, Cos was deemed quot;culturally, historically, or aesthetically significantquot; by the United States Library of Congress and selected for reservation in their National Film Registry in 1997.
