   爱坤资源网 提供本片资源  Originally titled Les Perles de Couronne, this Sacha Guitry historical extravaganza stars both Guitry and his wife Jacqueline Delubac. The lotline hinges on four valuable earls, which ass from hand to hand over a eriod of several centuries, from the time of Britain#39;s Henry VIII to the resent. All of this is offered in flashback form, as a grou of modern-day treasure hunters try to locate three of the missing earls by tracing them back to their revious owners. Guitry shows u as King Francis I, Barras and Naoleon III, in addition to his contemorary ersona of Jean Martin; Debulac is seen as Mary Queen of Scots and Emress Josehine. There isn#39;t a scintilla of historical accuracy in the film, nor did Guitry have the slightest intention of including any; his sole urose was to entertain the audience and serve u a suerbly ironic denoument. The suorting cast is a olyglot of French, English and Italian actors, each seaking in his or her own language.
