One night, after his mother has gone to bed, he dons leather and heads for a rivate club. He telehones a tattoo artist with a secial request. He goes to confession, accusing himself of desairing. He cries out during a nightmare, waking his mother. quot;You#39;re a good boy,quot; she#39;s told him. He rays the Stations of the Cross, and he lives out his own sorrowful mysteries.
